Frank Arndt
President & CEO
With over 26 years at the helm, Frank has been steering myITSource towards success since its inception in January 1998 as Frank’s Computers. As an Industrial Electrician turned tech guru, Frank learned the ropes of the IT business through trial and error, building a wealth of experience along the way.
If you ask Frank, and we did, he says that he works with the smartest people in Brandon and learns from them every day. Do you see why we love him?! Frank is sincerely committed to maintaining a culture where every employee truly feels valued and where collaboration and learning are top priorities.
His favorite tech gadgets are his Samsung Android Phone, smart home technology, and Sonos sound systems.
Frank is on a quest to become an AI expert, and also to master the paddleboard. When Frank isn’t busy revolutionizing the tech industry, you’ll find him cruising the open road on his motorcycle, traveling with his family, or embarking on some kind of outdoor adventure.

Sean Dandy
Managing Partner & Director of Business Solutions
Sean has been part of myITsource since 2006 and today serves as Managing Partner and Director of Business Solutions, helping lead company growth, client strategy, and the development of new solutions.
He works closely with business owners and leadership teams to understand their operations, challenges, and goals before recommending technology. His approach is built on honest advice, long-term relationships, and solutions that deliver meaningful business value.
Sean is passionate about cybersecurity awareness and helping organizations take a more proactive approach to protecting their people, systems, data, and reputation. He also helps businesses navigate AI by identifying practical opportunities, developing responsible policies, and preparing teams to adopt new technology securely and effectively.
Known for making complex topics clear and approachable, Sean helps clients reduce risk, improve efficiency, and make confident technology decisions.
He believes myITsource’s greatest strength is its culture: a collaborative, accountable team that genuinely cares about its customers, supports one another, and follows through when it matters most.
BJ Hersak
Managing Partner
If you have met this guy, you won’t likely forget him! BJ is a people person through and through, always taking time with both customers and staff to get to know what makes them tick and how to bring out the best in them. When describing myITsource he said “The culture is what sets our team apart! How many other employers host remote control car grand prix’s?” And let’s be clear, BJ plays a big role in helping set that culture.
BJ has been working with Frank and consulting with myITsource since 2010 and a couple of years ago became one of our managing partners. He brings a passion for learning and exploring with IT. He got hooked on wireless networks in the early 2000’s but has focussed more on communications tech since 2004. Personally he loves smart home tech, automation, AI, and any kind of tech toy out there.
Tech might be one of his passions, but he has also played a fair bit of hockey in his day (he actually started with ringette!), loves spending time with his family and is all about that Lake Life! In addition to everything else, BJ is our resident champion for Westman Dreams for Kids and loves an opportunity to give back to the community.
myITsource definitely wouldn’t be the same without him!
Ryan Green
IT Director & Managing Partner
At myITsource Ryan has nearly done it all. He started as an ACC student placement and worked as a service technician, assistant service manager, and IT consultant. Part of his role now is as the fearless leader of our Helpdesk and Service Department.
Currently, Ryan is focusing on the wonderful world of Microsoft’s suite of programs and their many licensing options. Personal favorites are Onenote and Sharepoint to go along with his whole kit of gadgets that make his life easier. He is also a platinum-level creative problem solver with an eye for elegant solutions and a knack for out-of-the-box thinking.
When we asked him about working at myITsource, he responded, “What I enjoy the most is working alongside a team that holds each other up and is just as invested in each others’ growths as well as their own. Our team culture is something special, even on our most hectic days we can still hear laughter and keep a smile on our faces.”
Ryan and his wife subscribe to lake life during the summer and all the fun activities that come along with that. They are kept active by their Mini-Australian Shepard Ruby all year round. And of course, he would hardly be an IT specialist if he didn’t also have a few video games on the go and a collection of gaming consoles.

Desmond Blacksmith
Shop Manager
Desmond has been with myITsource repairing all your computers and devices from water spills, drops, clicks, and crashes for over a decade and is our man behind the workbench.
Growing up he was the neighbourhood kid that people brought their VCRs and electronics to for repairs and through trial and error built his skills. He got his first computer when he was 19 years old and it was when a home internet installer showed him why his computer was running slowly that he really got hooked on figuring out what makes computers tick and how to make them better.
His first job in IT was in the IT department at Sioux Valley Dakota Nation which led him to ACC to complete his Adult Education Diploma, then his Computer Systems Technology Diploma where he came to myITsource as an ACC practicum student and never left!
When we asked him, he said the best part of working at myITsource was working for Frank and how he treats staff, the willingness of everyone to jump in and help at a moment’s notice, and of course being able to laugh, joke around and geek out around similar interests.
Out from behind the workbench, Desmond is an avid golfer and a die-hard Blue Jays fan. He loves watching movies with his family in his home theatre and of course playing video games.
You can rest easy knowing that your devices are in good hands here as Desmond weaves his tech magic!
Kelly Kruzer
Field Services Manager
Meet another one of our OG staff members, Field Services Manager, Kelly Kruzer! With 18 years on the books with us, he has done pretty much everything here, but currently manages our 3rd party services providing local IT technicians for many regional or national companies.
Kelly had an early interest in personal computers and worked doing DSL installations back in the day, which led to repairing computers and exploring networking and business computer systems.
When we asked Kelly what he most enjoyed about working at myITsource his response was “The team. I’ve been around long enough to see a few iterations of the myITsource team, but they all had the same team mentality that helps create a good place to come to every day. It is a professional space, but no one takes themselves so seriously as to make it an oppressive place to work. No one says you can’t have fun while working.”
Outside the office, Kelly works to make his home as smart as an older house can be with his nest thermostat and smart locks as his favourite additions allowing him to control things from wherever he is. In his time off, you might find him playing video games, tinkering with his car, fishing, at the lake with his family or even strumming his guitar.
Kelly is a part of the very foundation of myITsource through all the ups and downs. He is a great problem solver, always willing to help customers and staff. He can often be found to be going the extra mile without looking for any recognition, so we definitely want to recognize him! Thank you Kelly!
